Metro Manila, Philippines — One CoreDev IT® (CORE®) just reached a new milestone. The company, a trusted Employer of Record (EOR) in the Philippines and offshore partner, placed 6th in Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces in Technology 2026 list by Great Place To Work®.
Rankings are based on the Great Place To Work® Trust Index™ Survey, which gathers confidential employee feedback through more than 60 statements and open-ended questions covering key workplace dimensions such as leadership, fairness, pride, and camaraderie. Organizations must also satisfy rigorous statistical confidence requirements before qualifying for the list, ensuring that the rankings are grounded in reliable employee feedback rather than company-submitted claims.
A Regional First
The inaugural list recognizes organizations across Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam that have built outstanding workplace cultures within the technology sector. The ranking draws on more than 58,200 confidential employee survey responses, representing over 219,200 employees across the region. Furthermore, winners are recognized across Small (10–99 employees), Medium (100–999 employees)—where CORE® is ranked—and Large (1,000+ employees) categories.
The launch of this inaugural regional ranking reflects Southeast Asia’s growing influence as a technology and digital talent hub. As organizations continue expanding through digital transformation, cross-border hiring, and distributed teams, they are increasingly competing for the same highly skilled technology professionals across the region rather than within national borders alone.
Against this backdrop, workplace culture has become an increasingly important differentiator. Great Place To Work® notes that its Trust Index™ methodology has been refined through more than 30 years of workplace research involving over 100 million employees worldwide, making it one of the world’s most established workplace culture benchmarks.
Journey Built on Consistency
Every workplace recognition captures a moment in time. Taken together, however, they tell a much bigger story.
Over the past three years, CORE® consistently built a workplace where employees trust leaders, grow professionally, and do meaningful work.
CORE® Workplace Recognitions:
CORE® earned Great Place To Work® Certification™ in 2024 and the second Great Place To Work® Certification in 2025, followed by Philippines Best Workplaces™ in IT-BPM. In 2026, it earned Best Workplaces™ in the Philippines before achieving Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces™ in Technology, its first regional recognition.
Each milestone has expanded the scope of recognition: from workplace certification, to being recognized within the IT outsourcing in the Philippines, to joining a regional community of technology employers recognized for workplace excellence. Rather than representing isolated achievements, they demonstrate consistency across multiple evaluation cycles.
This progression reflects how the industry continues to recognize the CORE® workplace as the organization grows, first within the Philippines, and now alongside technology employers across Southeast Asia.
Maintaining that consistency is often more difficult than earning recognition once. As organizations grow, they face new leadership challenges, changing workforce expectations, and increasing operational complexity. Sustaining a strong workplace culture through that growth requires continuous investment rather than one-time initiatives.
Strategic Value Beyond Employee Engagement
The technology industry presents unique workforce challenges. Advances in digital transformation, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development continue to reshape the skills organizations need.
Research published by Great Place To Work® continues to show that high-trust workplaces outperform typical organizations in areas such as innovation, collaboration, employee well-being, and adaptability—qualities that have become increasingly valuable as technology organizations navigate rapid changes.
As competition for experienced technology professionals intensifies across Southeast Asia, workplace culture has become more than an employee engagement initiative. It has become a strategic business capability.
The inaugural Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces in Technology list reflects that shift by recognizing organizations where trust, leadership, learning, and collaboration are consistently experienced by employees. In knowledge-driven industries, these qualities help strengthen resilience, encourage innovation, and support long-term organizational performance.
For CORE®, inclusion in the inaugural list marks its first regional recognition alongside technology employers across Southeast Asia, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a workplace where people, performance, and long-term growth go hand in hand.
The Constant Behind Every Workplace Recognition
Growth changes many things. Organizations expand into new markets, support more clients, hire larger teams, and introduce new ways of working. The challenge is maintaining the qualities that made growth possible in the first place.
Those priorities closely mirror what today’s technology professionals increasingly value in a workplace. The Great Place To Work® workplace insights highlight that employees are looking beyond compensation alone, placing greater importance on trust in leadership, opportunities for growth, meaningful work, well-being, and a culture where they feel respected and included.
That consistency is particularly meaningful for organizations seeking an offshore partner, Employer of Record, or IT outsourcing in the Philippines. While workplace recognitions are not direct measures of technical expertise or delivery capability, they offer independent validation of the organizational environment supporting the professionals clients rely on every day.
For businesses building offshore development teams or long-term technology partnerships, recruiting exceptional talent is only one part of the equation. Retaining that talent, creating opportunities for continuous growth, and fostering a workplace where people choose to stay often have an even greater impact on long-term business success.
“Every stage of growth raises expectations,” said Jonathan Miller, CEO of CORE®. “As we support more clients, larger teams, and increasingly complex operations, our responsibility is to keep strengthening the organization behind them. Recognition like this reminds us that continuous improvement never stops.”
Lulette Millado, President of CORE®, added:
“Our goal has never been to become bigger simply for the sake of growth. We want to become better at every stage of our journey. That means developing our leaders, creating meaningful opportunities for our people, and building an organization that can continue evolving alongside the businesses we support.”
Looking Ahead
Every milestone reflects an organization’s progress. More importantly, the greater challenge is sustaining the standards that make continued growth possible
As technology continues reshaping industries across Southeast Asia, organizations will increasingly be recognized not only for the solutions they deliver, but also for the workplaces they create. This inclusion of CORE® in the inaugural Southeast Asia’s Best Workplaces in Technology 2026 list reinforces a long-term commitment to building an environment where talented professionals can grow, contribute, and create lasting value for clients around the world.
Ultimately, workplace recognition is not just about collecting awards. They reflect the commitment of CORE® to earning employee trust, maintaining excellence, and building long-term partnerships.
